Sandwell Family hubs now open the first Saturday of each month from 9.30am until 11.30am. Could you please promote to families via the attached leaflets.

We continuing to offer the following services during the week for all families within Sandwell.

 

-               Dudley Zoo Pass: Families can book to use our Dudley zoo pass which will give them free entry for 2 adults 4 children including free parking. (Family need to be registered with their local Sandwell family hub and currently accessing family hub services)

 

-               Stay and plays: Families are welcome to drop into these sessions with no booking required.

 

-               PTR (Play, talk, read): These sessions are targeted sessions around an area of child development. Places need to be booked via the referral form as these are set programmes running over a number of weeks.

 

-               Baby Clubs: Weekly groups for parent/carers and their babies (Newborns—1 year)

-               Baby Massage

 

-               Wellcomm screening: Speech and language screening. Additional support is provided following screening to those children requiring support.

 

-               Parenting programmes: We currently have a range of parenting programmes running around behaviour management and understand child’s behaviour (see leaflet). Places needed to be booked via referral form

 

-               Welfare rights: Family hub offer welfare right appointments and can support families with benefits, benefit claims, DLA/PIP and much more. Families requiring this service can contact their local family hub to book an appointment.

 

-               Moodmasters: 6 weekly CBT-based sessions to help you to make your life more enjoyable and manage troublesome emotions such as worry and stress (can be run at setting venue).

 

-               Henry: Supports a healthy lifestyle for the whole family including:- emotional well-being, nutrition, physical activity, portion sizes, screen time, looking after yourself and managing challenging behaviour (can be run at setting venue)

 

-               Family support: Support offered within the home around a wide range of concerns. Family support also provide support via Early help where required.

 

-               Health Visitor sessions and Self weigh drop in sessions

 

-               Pregnancy: Support offered to register with midwifes and Antenatal changes courses.
