Maths
Position and direction:
Today we have spent a lot of time plotting coordinates on a grid. We event went outside and plotted coordinates to make different shapes.
Measuring height:
We have spent a lot of time measuring the height of our friends. We are using key words like centimetres and metres.
Mass, volume and length:
We used some scales to measure the mass of some objects in our classroom - this really helped our understanding of kilograms and grams.
Money:
A new and exciting unit of work all about money! The pupils have showcased their prior knowledge of money through different anchor tasks.
Decimals:
Beech Class have been exploring decimals this week. They have been rounding decimals to the nearest whole number.
