Electricity:

This term, in Science, we are studying electricity. We will be exploring some key questions:

• What is electricity?

• What are the components of a circuit?

• What conducts electricity? 

Series circuits:

We composed some simple series circuits using:

-wires 

-batteries / cells 

-bulbs 

-buzzers 

-motors

What conducts electricity?

We completed an investigation in our classroom to classify which materials conduct electricity. Some of our materials did not conduct electricity - we call these insulators. 

Making a switch:

This week we made our own switches using card: split pins and a paper clip. We used them in a circuit.
