NSPCC Game Safe Festival webinar
Tue 23 Jan 2024The NSPCC have a FREE workshop for parents and carers about keeping children safe when gaming.
This year, the NSPCC launches its first Game Safe Festival. We’re bringing together key players to make sure children have positive gaming experiences. And we’re helping the adults in their lives have the knowledge, confidence and tools they need to keep children safe when they game.
The workshop will take place on Zoom on Wednesday 7th February 2024, 7-8pm. The attached flyer provides information about the session and how to register for it.

WBA Tickets to Leicester Match 2.12.23
Thu 23 Nov 2023We have been lucky enough to obtain 25 pairs of tickets (1 x adult & 1 x child) to the West Bromwich Albion vs Leicester football match on Saturday 2nd December 2023 (KO 12:30pm. PLEASE NOTE THAT TICKETS STATE 3:00PM, BUT THIS HAS BEEN CHANGED TO 12:30PM. CONFIRMATION OF THIS IS ATTACHED TO THIS EMAIL)
We will be holding a prize draw for these tickets. If you would like to enter this prize draw please send your child in with a £1.00 by 9:00am Monday 27th November 2023.
The draw will take place on Tuesday 28th November 2023 in school, with tickets being issued Tuesday afternoon.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Course
Tue 21 Nov 2023Please see the below information on a fantastic opportunity for parents and carers of children aged 8 – 16 in Rowley Regis to attend a fully funded Youth Mental Health First Aid course on the below four dates, all of which are 10.00am – 2.30pm at Cradley Heath Community Centre, Reddal Hill Road, Cradley Heath, B64 5JG.

The course will give parents the skills, knowledge, tools and techniques to help and support the children in their families to develop and maintain positive mental health and wellbeing while effectively managing any struggles the children may experience.
The course is fully funded so is FREE to all parents and carers attending.
Following the course all parents will receive 6 group mentoring support sessions from trained professionals to help them put their new skills and knowledge into practice, share experiences and deal with any challenges or questions.
Places are limited so please can parents either email TCE@kaleidoscopeplus.org.uk or call 0121 565 5605 and speak to the training team to book a place.
